Shein Law Sponsors Mesothelioma Charity Run

April 22, 2014 – Shein Law is proud to have once again been a sponsor of the Norm Kulig 2Young2Go Foundation’s annual Get the Lead Out 5k/10k charity run and 1 mile walk, held on April 14th at Wissahickon High School in Ambler, Pennsylvania.  Ben Shein of the law firm also participated in the event again this year. He is pictured below crossing the finish line.

The Norm Kulig 2Young2Go Foundation, founded by the siblings of Norm Kulig who lost his own battle with mesothelioma at age 42, has raised over $100,000 to support mesothelioma research.  Among the Foundation’s goals are to shed light on the dangers of asbestos exposure, further research for better treatment options and to find a cure for this deadly disease.  The Foundation also advocates for the prevention of asbestos-related diseases by focusing on the remediation of existing asbestos waste disposal sites throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.

In 2011, the University of Pennsylvania Health System awarded its Mesothelioma Advocacy Award to the Norm Kulig 2Young2Go Foundation in recognition of its efforts in mesothelioma advocacy and research.
