October 13, 2011 – On Friday, October 14, 2011, Penn Medicine will hold its 3rd Focus on Mesothelioma Conference at the Hilton Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the conference, Philadelphia Mesothelioma attorney Benjamin Shein of the Shein Law will receive the Mesothelioma Advocacy Award for his commitment to the protection of the rights of Mesothelioma patients. Open to the public, the conference presenters will discuss various topics that are of interest to victims of the disease, as well as physicians, researchers and advocates. For those who cannot attend, the discussions will be live-streamed from Penn Medicine’s website. Also, Mesothelioma experts will conduct a webchat during the conference to answer questions regarding risk, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
